How much does it cost?
I charge £15 to diagnose the fault which is deductible from the price of the repair if you wish to go ahead. Once I've found the fault you'll be emailed an estimate to go ahead with the repair.
I offer 2 services below. 1 is repair and cleaning only ans the other is a full service.
Standard service price list examples. Price includes labour, parts and head cleaning. Note on the booking form if you want the standard or full service
- Belt replacement (most common for around 90% of players) £40
- Sony DD Gear replacement £85
- Walkman belt and recap £75
- Sony D6C power supply repair £80
Full service price is the same as above plus £20. (Includes switch and volume control cleaning, calibration of speed, azimuth, cleaning and demagnetising of heads.)
